Mr. Willman has experience as a general counsel to businesses and individuals. As a corporate chief legal officer, Mr. Willman was responsible for all legal, regulatory, compliance, and governance matters. This included counseling executive management and the Board of Directors on legal issues to aid in proactive decision making. Mr. Willman has represented various companies throughout their corporate lifecycles, including formation, capital raising, growth, and sale. He is a trusted counselor in areas of law regarding corporate governance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, contract structure and negotiation, real estate, employment, licensing, and intellectual property. Mr. Willman is a published author and has contributed to articles on legal-technology topics ranging from nanotechnology regulation and risk management to the FDA’s role in modernizing regulatory pathways for new medical technologies. Mr. Willman has also authored papers evaluating the constitutionality of the future investigatory uses of neurotechnologies including functional resonance imaging and transcranial stimulation. Mr. Willman earned his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and is a graduate of one of America’s top ranked public law schools, The Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. During law school, Mr. Willman was an extern for Judge Mark Brain, in Arizona’s Maricopa County Superior Court.
