Jeff Stevens was born in the Green Mountains of Vermont and joined the Navy right after high school. Both Grandfathers were Navy men and Jeff followed in the footsteps of his Grandfather John who was a Pharmacists Mate with the 4th Marines who attacked Iwo Jima in WWII off the USS Sanborn. Shortly after Corpsman school, he assessed to become a Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman and after his pipeline of schools, served at 3rd Recon, 1st Recon, 4th Recon I&I, back to 1st and then became a plank owner of Bravo Company, 1st Marine Special Operations Battalion. His final duty was at Ft. Bragg, NC where he instructed at the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center and finally retired out of Joint Special Operations Command. He now resides in Pinehurst, NC with his wife Carol of 22 years and has 2 girls, Sadie, a Liberty University student and future Air Force pilot and Caitlin, a Montreat College soccer player and future exercise physiologist. Jeff’s passion is Christ as he leads a home church, blogs, podcasts and does regular study with his friends and local community. He is happy to be a part of a movement that is caring for his brothers and their families of the Marine Reconnaissance Community.
